Rena Ramsey
Sr HR Consultant

Rena is an accomplished and strategic Human Resources (HR) professional with over 40 years of progressive leadership experience across key areas of HR, including affirmative action, diversity, and employee relations. She has built a distinguished career in the banking and construction industries, leveraging her expertise to drive impactful HR initiatives that foster inclusive and equitable workplaces.

Rena is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), where she contributes as an advisory member to the Birmingham SHRM chapter’s board of directors. Additionally, she serves as the Co-Diversity Director for the Alabama SHRM State Council, advocating for diversity, equity, and inclusion across the state.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Birmingham-Southern College and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Her professional credentials include:

  • SHRM-SCP (Society for Human Resource Management – Senior Certified Professional)

  • SPHR (HR Certification Institute – Senior Professional in Human Resources)
