Simpler Succession Solution: A Sustainable Leadership Strategy

This solution is comprised of four projects combined with ongoing process for sustainability.

Project 1 – Emergency Succession ensures that key leadership and administrative functions continue without disruption in the event of an unplanned, temporary absence of a CEO, Managing Partner or Officer.

Project 2 – Departure-defined Succession is recommended when a long-term leader has announced their departure date two or more years in advance. It includes identifying the key goals going forward; determining the tools and skill set a successor will need to achieve those goals; significant attention is given to building the capacity of the board, managers, and systems to beyond the current executive’s tenure.

Project 3 – Strategic Leader Development is an ongoing practice of defining an organization’s strategic vision, identifying the leadership and managerial skills necessary to carry out that vision, and recruiting and developing talented individuals who have or who can develop those skill and attributes.

Project 4 – New Executive Assimilation is structured consulting and coaching for a new recruit or internally promoted executive to begin well – on a fast track with their new team on-the-same-page.
